About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Five Square Design website. By browsing the site or sending us a message through it, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

These terms are not your project contract

Nothing on this site is an offer to enter a contract, and nothing here sets the terms of a project. Scope, price, timeline, payment schedule, intellectual property, warranties, and liability for client work are all set out in a written proposal and agreement signed by both parties. Where those documents and this page disagree, the signed agreement governs.

Using the site

• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system.
• Do not use the contact form to send unsolicited advertising, bulk mail, or anything unlawful.
• Do not scrape, copy, or republish substantial parts of the site without written permission.
• Do not interfere with the site’s operation or attempt to overwhelm it with automated requests.

What you send us

When you send a message through the contact form, you confirm the information is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Please do not send confidential or sensitive material through the form. Until a mutual non-disclosure agreement is in place, treat anything you send as an ordinary business enquiry rather than a protected disclosure.

Ownership

The design, text, code, and images on this site belong to Five Square Design, apart from client logos and project screenshots, which remain the property of the clients they belong to and appear here with permission as portfolio work. The site’s visual design is built on a commercially licensed third-party template.

Portfolio and testimonials

Project descriptions and client quotes on this site reflect real engagements. Past results describe what happened for that client on that project and are not a promise of the same outcome for yours.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and accurate but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Links to other sites

Project cards link to live client sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Five Square Design is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of the judicial district of Montreal have jurisdiction over any dispute.
